Alain is a physician-scientist and one of Canada's most influential voices in health research policy. He holds an M.D. and a Ph.D., and served as President of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), where he helped shape national priorities for biomedical and clinical research and championed the translation of scientific discovery into real patient impact. His career spans decades at the leading edge of neuroscience and research governance, giving him a rare vantage point on what it takes to move a diagnostic innovation from the lab to the clinic. At OneCare, Alain lends his deep understanding of the research funding landscape and his instinct for scientific rigor to help guide the company's clinical and regulatory strategy. His counsel is a driving force behind OneCare's credibility in the scientific community.
Emmanuel is a leading academic psychiatrist whose career has been devoted to advancing the science and practice of mental health care. He holds an M.D. and served as Chair of the Department of Psychiatry at the Université de Montréal, where he trained generations of clinicians and led research at the intersection of psychiatry, cognition, and neuroscience. His clinical depth and his standing within the psychiatric community give him a rare, ground-level view of the diagnostic gaps OneCare is built to close. As an advisor, Emmanuel brings clinical credibility and a clear-eyed sense of what psychiatrists actually need from a biomarker-based tool, helping ensure OneCare's technology is built for real-world practice, not just the lab.
